Reverend Phyllis Cureton

Phyllis Cureton is from Washington (DC) where she grew up in the Baptist Church and learned about the power of God. As an adult, she attained her MBA and pursued a successful business career. Midcareer, she was called to pursue her M.Div. from Oral Roberts University where she learned more about the power of the Holy Spirit working in, through and around us. She is an Elder at Greater Mt Calvary Holy Church (WDC) under the leadership of Bishop Alfred and Co-Pastor Susie Owens and works in Evangelism and Missions under the Experience Imagine Ministries led by Apostle Tonya Jackson Smallwood. Phyllis spent more than 15 years in Hospital Chaplaincy, most of it in the mental and behavioral health arenas. She is Board Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains and believes that the power of forgiveness is as potent and important as the demonstration of God's power through signs, wonders and miracles. She is called to prayer and praise.
